BED|STÜ Travels: Day Trip to Joshua Tree
We rented an Airbnb in the town of Joshua Tree and shot in and around the property before heading into the National Park. For those who don’t know of the desert oasis known as Joshua Tree, it is where two distinct desert ecosystems (the Mojave and Colorado) come together to create an insanely gorgeous scene. It took 58 years for this cactus-dotted haven to become a National Park – which is meaningful because “National Park status” covers a higher level of conservation status and resources.
If you are looking to visit Joshua Tree, just know, that you really can’t go wrong with where you stay. There are some of the most jaw-dropping Airbnbs in this area like the viral invisible house or 1930’s Airstream stays.
You could spend a full day at the national park taking in all the beauty and hikes of Cholla Cactus Garden, Skull Rock, or Keys Ranch (guided tour). Not a hiker? There are so many other activities that you can squeeze in! Joshua Tree offers so many crystal/rock shops, eclectic vintage shops like Ricochet, and spas (sign me up!).
