Narrow and not very wide calf

I love the look of these boots! I want to love them and keep them. Unfortunately, they are very hard to get on and are too narrow in the ankle area. I had my younger daughter try them on, she confirmed they were narrow in the ankle area. For us wide calf ladies, usually the ankle area is also larger. They are awkward to get on with only having a short zipper at the ankle area. The zipper needs to go all the way to the top to get a taller boot on easily, especially wide calf. I need to return them. Customer Service is horrible. I contacted them 10 days ago. I completed the return form like they requested. I have emailed them 3 times since and I still can not get a reply or response regarding a shipping label or a RMA to return them. It is very frustrating.

First time I have purchased wide calf boots and they were actually wide enough for my athletic calves. Thank you BedStu for being truthful and honest. Also thank you for listing the measurement on your website. I absolutely LOVE😍them and the smell is sensational.

My Favorite Boots Ever

I have long legs and wide calves. I purchased these in the late summer of 2023. I wore them at least 4x per week all fall/winter/spring long. They're so comfortable. I am almost always a size 8, but in boots an 8.5 works best, and an 8.5 is what I bought. I bought the Black Rustic. I deducted one star because the left boot did not wear as well at the right boot. With as much as I wore them, the right boot still looks new, but the black color peeled off in places on the left shoe portion of the boot. I keep very good care of my footwear, and polished them with the BedStu leather polish. I ended up having to buy some black dye from Angelus to add the black back where it peeled off.
I do have 4 other pairs of BedStu boots that the color did not peel off.
