Love these boots and all my boots from BED/STU of which I have 8

I wear these boots all day and i can sleep in them too that's how comfy they are. I love the thick sole on this particular pair making them even more comfy than usual. I get compliments on my boots all the time. What I love is I can wear these boots up in the mountain where I live and on the streets of NYC because they are so cool looking yet so functional! BED STU are my favorite boots of all time. I have 8 pairs and will continue to purchase these fabulous boots as there is no other boot that compares..

Defective insole

First I want to say these are beautiful boots and I have bought several boots on the bed stu website. I could have bought these boots on a retail website that also sells them, but I chose to remain with bed stu. I noticed the fit was fine. However, every time I took my foot out of one of the boots, the insole would come out and then I would have to keep replacing it and then it never stayed secure.. when I walked. I reached out to customer service three times and always got the same robotic response which was they’re supposed to be that way because people replace the insoles.. I have never heard such a thing before and have never replaced any insoles on my six pairs of bed Stus. Who rips glued insoles out.? I was told to inconveniently send the boot back so that it could be glued down.. the boots are in perfect shape and have no wear on the tread at all so they refused to replace them because I wore them 6 feet to go to my car and then only wore them in homes for the holiday. Only wore 2 days. Look brand new. This has made me have a negative view of the company. mostly customer service and if I had bought them from the other retail, I would’ve not had this problem. They would have replaced them. Offered future discount etc. Horrible customer service for expensive boots.

Since thethe insoles are specifically made to be easily removed, we did not believe that sending a replacement pair would truly fix your problem. We are concerned that a replacement could have the same issue and we wouldn't want you to be dissatisfied with two pairs. This is why we provided the solution of securing the insoles in the pair that current pair that you have. We hope that securing the insoles will make the shoes a pair that you will love for many years to come.

Beautiful Boots

I absolutely love these boots! This is my 5th pair of Bed Stu’s boots and I have 3 pairs of their sandals. I love every pair. It’s a tough call but I think these are my favorite. They were very comfortable right out of the box. Some of my other pairs needed some breaking in time, but not these. They are generous in the width around the shaft. The foot bed is true to size. I purchased the light wash nectar and although it looks white in the photo, I would say it is more like off white to cream color. Still beautiful and they pair well with a lot of denim and legging colors. If you are apprehensive about purchasing these, don’t be! They are pricey but they are so worth it. You won’t regret it. I didn’t get them the first time around and regretted when they were gone. So glad they brought them back!
