Gorgeous, BUT super stiff and dry leather

Love the color of this bag. And loved the shape of this bag in the picture. However the leather is SUPER stiff and dry. I used the leather treatment cream from bed stu twice now, trying to soften it, so it could take a nice shape. And I have a feeling I will have to do it quite a few times more if I want the effect. Hoping the wear will make it softer as well, just finding it weird to wear it before the desired softness and shape.
