I have two pairs, one in violet and the other tan. I love the height of these. I also like that the ankle strap isn’t too tight.

I ordered these in the black and a size 8. I wear an 8 and an 8 1/2. Either size would have worked. They are a sturdy shoe and I like the worn leather look.
